Each of these providers operates under their own privacy policies, which govern their collection and use of your data. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies for more information.
5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We, and our third-party service providers, use cookies, pixels, and other tracking technologies to track information about your use of our website or Services. Our website uses the following categories:
- Necessary — Always active. Required for core functionality including authentication, payments, and site operation. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics — Site performance monitoring, error tracking, and session replay to help us improve the website experience.
- Marketing — Ad tracking and conversion measurement (e.g., Meta Pixel) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Our website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, a tracking technology provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. The Meta Pixel collects information about your activity on our website, including pages visited, actions taken (such as steps in the booking process), device and browser information, and IP address. This data is sent to Meta Platforms, Inc. We do not send directly identifying information such as your name, email address, or phone number to Meta through the Pixel. We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising, optimize our ads, build advertising audiences, and understand how visitors use our website. Meta may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Meta Conversions API (CAPI). In addition to the Meta Pixel, we use the Meta Conversions API, a server-to-server integration that sends conversion events (such as a completed booking) directly from our servers to Meta Platforms, Inc. Unlike the Pixel, CAPI may transmit contact information you have provided to us — specifically your email address and phone number — in hashed (SHA-256) form, along with technical data such as IP address and browser information. Hashing is a one-way process that obscures the original value, but it is still considered Personal Information under applicable privacy laws. We use CAPI to measure and optimize the effectiveness of our advertising. Meta may use this data in accordance with its own privacy policy.
Your Choices. By default, all cookie categories are enabled. You may opt out of Analytics and/or Marketing cookies at any time by clicking the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer of any page on our website. Your choice is stored locally on your device and persists across visits. You can also:
- Adjust your browser settings to block or delete cookies.
- Manage your Meta ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences.
- Opt out through the Network Advertising Initiative or the Digital Advertising Alliance.
6. Information Regarding Children
Our website and Services are intended for users who are 18 years or older and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 18 years old. If we become aware that we have collected information from a child under 18 years old, our policy is to delete such information from our records.

7.3 State Privacy Rights
Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), the Kentucky Consumer Data Protection Act, and similar state privacy statutes. These rights may include:

- Right to Correct. Request correction of inaccurate Personal Information.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing. Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your Personal Information for targeted advertising, as defined under applicable state laws.
Sale and Sharing Disclosure. We do not "sell" your Personal Information in the traditional sense. However, our use of certain tracking technologies such as the Meta (Facebook) Pixel (described in Section 5) may constitute "sharing" of Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising under the CCPA. Categories that may be shared include Internet and Network Activity and Identifiers (such as device ID and IP address). To opt out, use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our website footer or the methods described in Section 5.
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@storegoselfstorage.com. We will verify your identity before processing your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
8. Legal Disclaimer
Nothing in this Privacy Policy restricts StoreGo Self Storage's ability to comply with federal, state, or local laws; comply with a civil, criminal, or regulatory inquiry; cooperate with law enforcement agencies; exercise or defend legal claims; detect security incidents; or transfer Personal Information as part of a merger or acquisition.
